The IKA Vibrax shaker unit is a versatile base unit supplied complete
with a simple test-tube shaker/mixer platform designed for one-handed
operation. To this unit a variety of other platforms may be fitted to allow

electronic speed control. The set speed is very accurately controlled as the
electronic circuit constantly compares actual speed with the set value and

Platform Shakers IKA series 250 BasicThs IKA series 250 shakers accept loads up to 5kg in weight and are available in two versions, the KS250 with orbital shaking motion and the HS250 with reciprocating motion. The shakers have been designed to retain a smooth action even when running with an unevenly distributed load. The units can be operated either in continuous mode or by a 60 minute timer with one minute increments, cycle time being set by an analogue dial. Platform Shakers IKA series 501 DigitalThese modern low profile shakers can accept loads up to 15kg; model KS501 Digital has an orbital motion and model HS501 Digital has a reciprocating motion. The series 500 is an enlarged version of the series 250 with a higher load capacity and a larger platform area, making it capable of handling more flasks etc. The shaking frequency is digitally set and dispiayed. Run time may be controlled by the timer.
